Sunset Lover is an Australian resort wear brand that was
born to leave a zero footprint.

We take a modern approach to design, employing circular design strategies focused on inclusivity and diversity over seasonality and trends.

At Sunset Lover, each garment presents a rich history highlighting the intricate connection that we have to
our lands and seas. 

Our collections are designed in collaboration with the South Australian Museum and Botanic Garden
of South Australia.

Deep divining into the archives of these cultural institutions Sunset Lover draws print inspiration from species of global flora and fauna that have played a sacred part in the ecology of our planet. 

Carefully preserving the objects or illustrations of the original artist, we adapt these into prints for textiles transforming them into
wearable pieces of art.

The Founders

Sunset Lover was founded by Dean and Melanie Flintoft in 2021.

Dean and Melanie have a lifetime of experience in the industry, having launched seven fashion brands in the past 25 years.

From the outset Dean and Melanie set out to create an authentically sustainable brand with a zero-plastic policy in both their fibres and packaging.

 In its debut year, Sunset Lover partnered with CanopyStyle and Pack4Good to uphold the transparency and accountability of these objectives, ensuring that no ancient or endangered forests are cleared or compromised.
